1. The officers in the Bergen County Jail do not carry firearms
2. There are approximately 68 women in the prison
3. Prisoners that are a danger to themselves wear uniforms that cannot be torn or ripped
4. The Officers and Prisoners walk amongst each other
5. There are no convicted inmates within the walls of the prison All inmates are awaiting trial.
6. Only 2% of the inmates come from Bergen County
7. There are pay scales for the prisoners.  50 Cents a day for cleaning crew, $1 a day for Laundry and Kitchen help
8. Women wear Green jumpsuits, Men wear Orange
